This class helps students develop their skills in English. Students develop communication skills, critical thinking, and discussion skills in English with a focus on improving basic communication. Students are expected to research, prepare, contribute, and complete all assigned tasks in weekly class discussions. Each lesson focuses on getting students to complete communication tasks. By completing these tasks, they are exposed to a variety of vocabulary and grammatical structures. Completion of the task also leads to further discussion of related topics.

Each semester has one mid-semester test and one end-semester test, and all work up to these points is evaluated. These tests contribute 60% to the final grade. Class Participation / Homework 40% Participation in the class is a key element as it focuses on improving conversation skills. Therefore, it is expected to contribute to all communication activities.
