In this lecture, we will focus on the fundamentals of electronic properties of metals, semiconductors, and insulators that are building blocks for electronic devices, then will learn about electrical behaviors of semiconductor devices and conventional fabrication processes for an integrated circuit. Based on the current situation and issues, we will acquire knowledge for advanced technologies of next-generation electronic devices through reading literature on novel electronic devices and materials, device structures, and fabrication processes.
Details of the lecture will be announced in the first class. Prerequisites
Followings are recommended prerequisites for this lecture:
Solid State Physics, Semiconductor Devices Method Using AL・ICT
Discussion Debate/Presentation/Interactive classes using ICT
