This lecture outlines the formation process of Japanese architecture and cities, and think about the social background and cultural context. This lecture deals with basic history firstly, then deals with surrounding systems, characteristic urban architecture, contemporary task and so on.
Goals of the course are as follows. To acquire the perspective of the history of architecture and cities in Japan. To develop the consciousness of contemporary architecture and cities by understanding the transition process of Japanese architecture and cities. Prerequisites
