Goals and objectives
Organic polymers such as fibers and resins have been widely used in daily used products during the 20th century due to their advantages of lightweight and toughness as well as being able to be mass-produced.  On the other hand, since the 21st century, the properties and characteristics of organic functional materials required for high-performance devices such as smartphones have become more sophisticated, and the organic molecules involved in these have also been diversifying. This lecture aims to learn the various organic molecules used in these materials and to understand the relationship between their properties and molecular structures.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of organic and synthetic polymer chemistry
Method Using AL・ICT
