Use English to write about, present on, and discuss technological topics in international environments and teams.Students will further practice all four skills in English and will further build on and develop their intermediate skills in discussing technical topics in small groups, writing short reports, and giving presentations.
受講にあたっての前提条件
There are no pre-requisites, although completion of second year English courses will help prepare students for this course.
授業の方法とねらい
This course is designed to continue on from the first semester course in providing students with further opportunities and skills for intermediate-level discussions about, and presentations on, scientific and technological topics in English.
Students will gain further experience in writing about technological topics in English and also in giving presentations on technology-related subjects. Students will also develop further their communicative competence in discussions using Technological English and critical thinking. Students are expected to research, prepare for and contribute to weekly class discussions and complete all assigned tasks. AL・ICT活用
