This newly inaugurated lecture series, part of the graduate school's innovative "DX Practice Lab," is designed to provide hands-on ICT education. Endorsed by the National Institution for Academic Degrees and University Reform in Japan (NIAD), this initiative is part of a broader effort to bolster the capabilities of universities and technical colleges from 2023 through 2032.
Our program stands out by offering engaging, interactive lectures delivered in a traditional format, yet infused with the dynamism of real-world DX (Digital Transformation) practices. Participants will gain a DX-focused perspective through insightful sessions led by seasoned practitioners in the field. More than just theoretical knowledge, the course aims to equip students with tangible skills through practical cloud design exercises, guided by these experts. To ensure participants are well-prepared for the cloud design exercises, attendance at the AWS Academy Cloud Foundations course is mandatory. This prerequisite, approximately 20 hours in length, is offered entirely free and accessible online within the AWS ecosystem. Registration details, including access to the course, will be directly communicated via email to those who sign up. The AWS Academy Cloud Foundations course is structured to reflect the content level of the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, guaranteeing a solid foundation in cloud concepts and skills. Detailed information, including how to access the course, will be sent directly to registered participants. This program is a unique opportunity to bridge theory with practice, enabling participants to navigate the complexities of digital transformation with confidence and skill. Prerequisites

Message for students
Having led a company in the realms of marketing and production within the IT industry for over 30 years, I am eager to share my experiences and insights with the younger generation. My goal is to demystify the concept of Digital Transformation (DX) and convey that it is more accessible than it often appears. This lecture is designed to shift perceptions of DX from daunting to manageable, illustrating how it enables the creation of innovative business and service models through data utilization. Rather than relying on intuition or past experiences, we will explore how to make informed, rational decisions based on data analysis. It's an opportunity to learn how to harness the power of DX to drive forward-thinking and strategic planning.
