具体的な到達目標

The aim of this course is to provide students with a structured environment in which they will develop their abilities to conduct research, write a research paper in English, and present their research in English.

Students are expected to produce a research paper on a topic of their interest. The paper should demonstrate their critical thinking abilities. For those that are following the PICC program, the paper should be the culmination of their two years' achievement in the program, and it will be considered as the PICC program qualification paper.

授業計画

The course is a year-long project, students will meet individually and in groups with their supervisor, who will guide them through the process of conducting independent research and presenting their results in English, in both written and oral form.

Points that will be addressed include:
Research Techniques
Documenting Information
Organizing Material for and Writing Academic Papers
Preparing and Delivering Academic Presentations

成績評価の方法

Grades will be determined from the quality of the student's research project, paper, and presentation.
