Goals and objectives
This course provides knowledge about multi-media such as text, image, video, and any other type of mono-media.
The knowledge is covered with each media type, media format, coding category, and information retrieval.

On completion of this course, the student should be able to:
1. have an awareness of basic coding methods and types.
2. have an awareness of processing the coded media information.
3. have an awareness of the principle about information retrieval.
4. have an awareness of evaluation on information retrieval.
