Goals and objectives

The development of the financial industry cannot be discussed without the development of IT. Therefore, this lecture will explain how the financial industry has developed and how it will develop in the future from the viewpoint of IT development. In this lecture, the following contents will be covered.
・History and development of the financial industry
・Relationship between the financial industry and IT
・IT supporting the international financial network
・Information systems supporting banks, securities, insurance, and other financial industries
・FinTech

Prerequisites

The financial system includes the financial system itself, which represents the structure of domestic and international financial operations, and the financial (information) system that realizes these operations using IT. You should be interested in these systems.
