Goals and objectives
Nanotechnology encompasses the understanding of the fundamental physics, chemistry, biology and technology of nanometre-scale objects.
This course introduces the principles of nano- and microfabrication and related technology to students taking this course.
The goals of this course are to
1) Obtain basic knowledge about the background of “Nanotechnology”.
2) Understand the relationship between physical approach and chemical approach from the viewpoint of chemist.
3) Obtain basic knowledge about the latest developments.
