Goals and objectives
As one of the big topics in the mechanical engineering system, software is necessary to improve its correctness, extendability, robustness, and reusability. In this course, students learn the way of thinking about “the quality of software”, and learn and integrate some typical algorithms.
Prerequisites
This course is assumed that you already learn C or C++ language. Or you need self-learning.
Method Using AL・ICT
Practice Fieldwork/Support for self-learning using ICT

Class schedule
1: computer foundation and mechanical system, and memory address and pointer
2: operating system and development environment, calculation and amount of calculation
 3: filter commands
4: shell scripts and regular expressions
5: how to make a program
 6: using run-time optional arguments
 7: multi-process
 8: socket
 9: signal
 10: randomness
 11: least squares method
12: Bayesian estimation and Kalman filter
 13: clustering
 14: eigenvalues and eigenvectors, graph
 14: recapitulation of this class

Evaluation
Achievement is based on every practical training.
Feedback for students
Programming homework will be assigned.

Textbooks
None.
Reference materials
Recommendation for self-learning is “Bjarne Stroustrup, programming language c++ (4th edition).”
