The aim of this class are to understand City Planning Law and its system, urban policy and housing policy, and to learn your knowledge which you can use practically through considering and discussing social problems from the point of view of urban planning.
On completion of this course, students should be able to : 1) understand the outline of urban planning, connecting with social problems 2) point out some problems in the system and policy of urban and housing planning through social problems 3) acquire skills for discussion and presentation through case studies in the class Prerequisites
You should have finished basic studies about Japanese urban planning.
