In architecture and urban designing that coexists with the natural environment, it is necessary to investigate the local environment and climate characteristics prior to planning, make use of good points, identify problems, and take measures as necessary. In this lecture, we will learn how to understand the environment from the perspective of heat, water, and wind, and how to form a more comfortable environment.
Prerequisites
Requires basic knowledge of environmental engineering.
Method Using AL・ICT
Support for self-learning using ICT

Message for students
There are four seasons in Japan, and climate characteristics differ depending on the region. In architecture and community development that coexists with the environment, it is essential to get along well with nature while taking into account the characteristics of each region. Students are welcome, who are interested in the point of view that by using natural energy to create a comfortable microclimate outdoors or semi-outdoors, indoors will become more comfortable as a result.
