The purpose of this lecture is to acquire the knowledge of various professional technics for the buildingmaintenance and historic preservation. We learn how to research about the history and the historic transition ofthe buildings and how to fi nd the causes of damages and deterioration in the buildings. We will visit to someconstruction sites and learn the recent technics for building maintenance and the preservation and restorationworks.
